HIGHLIGHT OF EPISODE 53 OF THE SERVICOM HELP DESK RADIO PROGRAMME

Episode 53 of the SERVICOM help desk Radio Programme held on  13th  February 2019 and was cantered on the complaint brought to SERVICOM by Viko Company (Airport Taxi Operator) on alleged assault,  illegal eviction, harassment and destruction of property, purportedly carried out by  staff of the Federal Airport  Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) at the Nnambi Azikiwe International Airport.

National Coordinator/Chief Executive of SERVICOM, Mrs Nnenna  Akajemeli  said  SERVICOM office had made efforts for FAAN and Viko Company to meet and  resolve the issue amicably, adding that it was for such reason that FAAN was invited to the studio to clear the air on the allegations and come up with a solution .

Two Staff of Viko took time to narrate their sad experience on the day of the incidence while the CEO of the Company also narrated how his business had been affected by the action of FAAN staff despite his payment of all concessionary bills.

The FAAN Legal Director, Dr. Clifford Imade Omozeghia  who also took time to explain matters that led to the incidence, refrained from going into much details as the case was in Court but later apologised to Viko staff who were manhandled by FAAN Staff and gave an assurance that  FAAN would look into the matter thoroughly to the satisfaction of both contending parties.

The SERVICOM National Coordinator who appreciated the Ordinary President for his intervention as well as FAAN for honouring the invitation to the studio, reiterated that in the service delivery equation, the customer remains the king and should be handled respectfully even if he errs.

A committee comprising SERVICOM Office, Viko Company, FAAN and Brekete family was set-up to look into the issue and come up with an amicable solution.
