The SERVICOM National Coordinator Mrs. Nnenna Akajemeli has commended the effort of Customer Service Award Limited (CSAL) in advocating for efficiency and service excellence in both public and private sector through its “Project Good Service” Initiative.
Akajemeli while receiving a Team from CSAL in her office said one of the goals of SERVICOM is to raise citizens’ awareness of the significance of service delivery in their lives and encourage them to recognize and assert their rights to satisfactory service delivery.
“SERVICOM works to ensure that service takers understand their rights to public services, the service standards they should expect and how to demand for that service or speak up where it is deficient or lacking” she said.
The National Coordinator commended the efforts of CSAL at adding value to the system, saying “at a time when young people are looking for what government would do for them, it is delighting to see you adding value to the system”.
Mr. Aliyu Ilias, Co-founder of CSAL and leader of the Team had earlier said they were in SERVICOM Office to solicit partnership for wider reach on their activities and programmes.
While shedding more light on the Project Good Service Initiative of the organisation, the 2017/2018 Customer Service Ambassador Miss Kelechi Erendu, said the concept was aimed at fostering positive change in service delivery cycle.
She said the social media as well as Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials would be deployed as handles to inform citizens on what to do in the event of service failure in any organisation.
In the visiting Team was Head of Projects of CSAL,Mr. Emmanuel Otori, who also reiterated the need for more partnership with SERVICOM so as to give a strong voice for excellent Service Delivery.
